Christ For Us - The Gospel is why we make disciples

The gospel is the Bible’s core message; the good news that Jesus has done for us what we could never do for ourselves. This message transforms our heart, shapes our behavior, and nourishes our soul.  We make disciples because Jesus has made us his disciples. We devote our lives to his mission because Jesus made it his mission to save us. We give our lives for him because he gave his life for us.

CHRIST with us - spiritual family is where we make disciples

God is a community of persons, humans are created for community, and Jesus has saved us into community. We cannot be Christ's disciples by ourselves. Christians are not individuals who gather for meetings, but members of God's family. Making disciples is a team sport. We must win people to Christ, build them, and send them together.

CHRIST In US - JEsus is who makes disciples

The Christian life is not me doing my best for Jesus, but Jesus doing his best through me. Jesus is the vine, and we are the branches. His job is to make disciples. Our job is to stay connected to him. For this reason, making disciples is not primarily about learning methods or techniques, but learning to cultivate an intimate, moment-by-moment communion with Jesus through his word and prayer.

CHRIST Through Us - Wholistic mission is how we make disciples

Jesus makes disciples, but he chooses to do it through us. How do we make disciples? Like Jesus did; through doing good works and speaking good words. Both words and works are essential. Our good works display the love of Jesus. Our good words declare the love of Jesus. We must display the kingdom and declare the King.
