Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery is a free Christian Recovery Program that embraces the power of God in the healing process and is open to everyone in the community who would like support and encouragement. We offer programs for men and women and free child care is available for infants-12 year olds.

The program is built around biblical principles called the Beatitudes, taken from Jesus' Sermon on the Mount. The Beatitudes instruct us on how to live complete and fulfilling lives that are free from controlling disorders. The result is freedom, peace, serenity, and a stronger relationship with God and others. We all have hurts, hang-ups, habits, or addictions that need attention.

To participate, come to a meeting! We meet every Wednesday night from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Our general schedule is as follows:

6:00-7:00 p.m.: Dinner. Come and share a hot meal for a nominal fee and enjoy good food and good company.
7:00-8:00 p.m.: Large Group Session. Everyone meets together for a time of worship and teaching or a testimony. This week will feature the lesson, "Yes."
8:00-9:00 p.m.: Open Share Groups. This is the time to break into gender specific recovery groups where you will meet other people with similar hurts, hang-ups, and habits.

Hands Of Mercy Missions Trip

Creekside has partnered with Hands Of Mercy for six years helping to build homes for those in need in Mexico. Hands Of Mercy facilitates a cross cultural missional weekend. It starts with a pre-build at our annual Love East Bay event on October 15th when we prefabricate the walls, roof pieces, and floor for a modest loft home. Then, over the weekend of November 4th-6th, a team of 15-20 Creeksiders will travel to the Hands Of Mercy camp near Ensenada, Mexico. The team will assemble the fabricated home in the course of one day and then turn over the keys to a family in need at a local church. The cost is about $250 per person. Families, singles, and friends are welcome. Contact Kathy Greer if you would like to join the team.
